BASIC WEB DESIGN

9 Hours

HTML has been around for many years now and is still the basis of all the sites you see today. This short course will teach students the fundamentals of the "behind the scenes" code that runs these pages.

We've designed this class with small business and aspiring designers in mind. There are many web services and software programs that can help you design your site, but by knowing just a little about HTML code can greatly help in achieving the goals you have for your site.

This is a beginner level course. You do not need to have any prior coding experience or even much PC knowledge. We start from scratch and nothing is too difficult to understand.

Class Topics:

Basic Tags (fonts, sizing, color, alignment)
Hypertext
Pictures
Tables and Frames
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Basic SEO Techniques (Search Engine Optimization)
